-Claire McAlister In her distinctive design language Claire McAlister makes jewellery using a unique combination of silver and dramatically coloured wood veneers. She is inspired by the material itself, particularly the inherent qualities of wood veneer produce inspiring and dynamic forms when manipulated from their flat state. This year Claire has taken a huge leap forward in her career, curating the internationally touring exhibition Seoid 11, which is currently touring Australia.
